Past Champions

2016

Scott McCarron
In the final round of the 2016 Dominion Charity Classic, Scott McCarron sunk a 10-foot putt for birdie on No. 18, the first hole of a sudden-death playoff to claim his second win on PGA TOUR Champions.

2017

Bernhard Langer
Birthplace: Anhausen, Germany
In the 2017 tournament, Bernhard Langer buried an 18-foot eagle putt on the par-5 18th hole Sunday to shoot a 2-under 70, earning his 35th career PGA TOUR Champions victory. He beat Scott Verplank by one shot.

2018

Woody Austin
Birthplace: Tampa, Florida
Woody Austin held off Bernhard Langer in the final round of the 2018 tournament to claim his victory, shooting a 3-under 69 for a one-stroke victory. Austin finished with an 11-under total for three rounds to win his fourth senior title and first since 2016, and said windy and cool conditions that made scoring difficult played to his advantage.

2019

Miguel Angel Jiménez
Birthplace: Malaga, Spain
In 2019, the final round of competition was held on a Monday as a result of a rain delay, during which Miguel Angel Jiménez tied the course record with a 9-under 63. Jimenez made nine birdies and beat second round co-leader Tommy Tolles by two shots.

2020

Phil Mickelson
Birthplace: San Diego, California
The 2020 tournament was held without spectators as a result of COVID-19. Phil Mickelson carded a 7-under 65 to get to 17-under for the tournament, good enough for a three-stroke lead over the field for his second-straight win on the PGA TOUR Champions. Mickelson was a stroke off the tournament record set in 2019 by Miguel Angel Jimenez.

2021

Bernhard Langer
Birthplace: Anhausen, Germany
At 64, Bernhard Langer became the oldest winner in PGA TOUR Champions history and the first two-time Dominion Energy Charity Classic Champion, beating Doug Barron on Sunday with a 6-foot birdie putt on the first hole of a playoff.
